About Me
Hi, I’m Kevin. I’m a 2nd-Generation Vietnamese American who was born and raised in the NOVA area.
I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in I.T and worked in the field for several years before pursuing my love of storytelling full time.
When you don’t see me with a camera, I usually have a good book in hand. This book could be;
- Nonfiction self-help books,
- Young adult fiction novels,
- or the addicting manga and manhwas from the East.
If I’m not reading, then I’m watching! My favorite shows I’ve completed in the last 2 years include:
- The Office
- Parks & Rec
- Mythic Quest
- Abbott Elementary
- The Bear.
What can I say, I just love creating and consuming great stories.
I’m not just a storyworm though. I love physical activity! Find me at:
- Hitting the Home Gym
- Snowboarding at 7 Springs
- Playing Volleyball
With all the movement, I also need nourishment. I fancy cooking this nourishment myself, even if they end up being a bit out of the box.
This is just a bit about me at a glance, feel free to dive a little deeper with the drop-down boxes below if you share any similar interests. I always meeting new people in these interest communities

I live with 2 Corgis and my Wife. When I need a break from the dogs, I swing by my parents to cook food together with my family
Both my parents are from Vietnam, and immigrated here shortly after the fall of Saigon. Me and my sister came as a result, and loved eating Vietnamese food growing up .
This love for my culture carried into college, where I was the President of the Vietnamese Student Associate at Virginia Tech ! It was an honor to serve our 400 person community at the time.
I snowboard during the winter, and OneWheel during the off-season to get my fix. There’s nothing like hitting the slopes on a fresh pow day.
I host a video podcast on Youtube called “Comfort Food”, where my guests and I talk about the American Immigrant experience across varied demographics & generations.
You can find it on my food channel “Kob Feasts”.
I love making food in my pressure cooker. My next buy is going to be a sous vide! If you’re ever interested in trying one of my dishes, I’d be more than happy to host you in my home .
I was trained classically in Piano for 8 years, and now play for fun . I’ve also dabbled a bit into DJing and Music Production.
I’ve always been the host in my network. From July 4th parties, Beach Weeks, Winter Cabin Trips, and more- you’ll find me at the forefront of the party planning committee .
